Parenting for sure is not a cakewalk. As of now, every parent must have experienced this in their lifetime. We always use simple techniques to make our children learn values and follow discipline. Here we have come up with the amazing story of a mum based in Florida who shared How she made her 7 year old son do all the daily chores such as cleaning the stuff, Making the bed, Brushing the teeth, and much more. Do you think a 7 year old can do this?

I have a seven-year-old. He has a daily task list that he must complete on a daily basis. Should he complete everything on his task list he gets a dollar per day. At the end of the month, he realises he has bills to pay. He pays those bills to me. He has rent, he has electricity for his room and he also has internet for his iPad,” she said
This sounds interesting. Even the parents like us can embed this wonderful parenting technique to have our children learn morals in a fun manner. The boy has to understand the difference between the money for his fun and entertainment and the other money with which he has to bear his bill expenses such as rent is $5 per month, electricity is $2 and the wifi for the iPad is $2.In this way, you know what even after paying for the bills her son can save 20$ for himself.
Mom of the child feels proud of her 7 year old son for being so sensible for this amazing step. She even adds That if in case if the child misses paying the bill for one month, he has the liberty to pay by the end of next month.
“I don’t do anything with his money except for put it right back in his savings account. It has taught him the value of a dollar and responsibility. I am so pleased with the results, hopefully it’s something that can help you out as well,” she suggested.
This is not the harsh way of parenting instead I found it a cool way in which children from the very beginning can learn to value not just money but everything in life. As it is rightly said there is no age to start learning. What do you guys think about this mom’s way of parenting? Do let us know in the comment box below.
